Summer School registration is open until Friday, May 10, 2024 at 12:00 pm.
We offer Credit Acceleration:
- Health
- Professional Communication (Speech) - (10-12th grade students only) For the class of 2028 and beyond, Professional Communication will be earned in English class. It is also earned in the Incubator program.
- Government (11/12 grades ONLY)
- Economics (11/12 grades ONLY)
As well as Credit Recovery (for AHISD students only)
Summer school acceleration courses are not accepted by the AHHS ECHS/P-TECH programs. These courses must be taken through the Dual Credit program. Please contact AHHS Early College for questions.
Students may register for one acceleration class per summer school semester.
Semester 1: June 3 - 14
Semester 2: June 17 - 28
Credit Acceleration for AHISD students
Fees: $275 for one semester (0.5 credit), $350 for two semesters (1 credit).

- Use this link for directions for creating a My School Bucks account. If you use the My School Bucks online registration, your child's name may not auto-populate. If this is the case, please add your child’s name. Please enter your child's official school name and school ID to ensure we have the correct student.

Credit Acceleration for non-AHISD students
Fees: $375 for one semester and $475 for two semesters.
Print the 2024 Summer School Form and return it to the AHHS Counseling office with cash or check payable to AHISD.
Credit Recovery Fee: $300
